Thomas Eryre born 1812

Searching for infomation on the parents of Thomas Eyre b. 1812 in Ferry, Lincolnshire.  He married a Letitia Brown b. 1812 in Ireland. I have found him in the census with his wife and children but cannot find info on his parents, so any pointers would be a help

Pointers:
There may well be more than one person of that names born around that area and time.
You Have some of the census: POST THE DETAILS; INCLUDE ALL  in household, and the refs.
That way we may pick out the correct marriage from indexes/other sources.

It's possible he moved to Owston when he was very young ...

There was (in IGI)

1814 Thomas (Luddington)
1814 George (Luddington)
1816 John (Owston)
1818 Anne (Owston)

all children of Thomas and Sarah

FreeReg also has
1821 Robert (Owston) with the info that his father was a weaver

The only marriage I can see was rather distant at Louth 1812, Thomas EYRE to Sarah INGRAM.

Sarah was buried 2 Aug 1822 aged 30.

Thomas EYRE (widower) married Martha KELSEY at Owston 12 Dec 1831.

Thomas was still weaving (in Belton) in 1851

In the 1861 census he was in Leeds and the census shows his wife, Letitia
along with his children:

John
Robert
Letitia
Elizabeth
He lived at 20 Eastfield street and was a hairdresser.

In 1851 he was b 1814 in Garttrop, Lincs

(&7 kids starting 1834 Gainsborough)

Garthorpe, just a mile or two from Luddington, about 12 miles from Owston.

A bonus bit of info in 1851-

Lattia 36 Soldier's daughter, Ireland.

Probably not crossed out because it was wrong information, just crossed out because it wasn't an occupation.  Perhaps dad was an englishman simply posted to Ireland.

Many thanks for all the hints.  The 1851 and 1861 are definately the correct Thomas.  Thomas was a hairdresser and that is confirmed.  Still having problems leaping back another generation, so any more hints would be great.
I have now located Letitia back to Moneydig in Ireland and also found her parents. Must look into the suggestion of the soldiers daughter and whether it was a posting or whether he was infact irish.
