Looking for any information on James Meek (Born 1761)
He was the Lord Mayor of York three times, 1836-7, 1848-9, 1850-51.

Hi Kevin,

1761 seemed a little old to me for someone still in charge in 1851, so I checked the 1851 and the James Meek Lord Mayor or York was aged 61 then (HO107/2353 301 1). Do you have the details yet?  Smiley
