Holne Church and churchyard
« on: Wednesday 01 July 09 14:57 UTC (UK) »

I'm researching the Dawson Family who once lived at Holne House - now a hotel. If anyone is in the vicinity  I wonder of they could check the following for me at the church:

Is there a memorial plaque to Captain Richard Long Dawson inside the church?
Does his name appear on the Holne War Memorial? - in the churchyard I believe.
Is there a grave stone or memorial anywhere for his father Hon. Richard Maitland Dawson?
Is there anything similar for his mother?
his mother was living at The Cott at Holne in 1918 - any idea where that might be?

any other info on the family post 1914 would be great. Many thanks
