Does anybody have any details or information on the above establishment.

Just been carrying out some research on a possible ancestor and it appears the nearest match is listed on the 1901 Census as :-

Inmate Of Ind School (Committed By Magistrate).
Civil parish of Ratby.
Registration district. Market Bosworth.
Sub reg district. Ibstock.
ED,Institution or vessel. Desford Industrial School.

There is a list of lads ranging from 9 to 14.
