COMLPETED: Transciption of secondary cause of death required please
« on: Thursday 02 July 09 13:06 UTC (UK) »

Hi,

Would anyone mind having a go to see if they can read what the second cause of death on this certificate states please?

As I read it, the causes of death are as follows

1.a) Bronchia Pneumonia
   b) Non-alcoholic Cirrhosis of the Liver

2.) Cerebral..(could it be ‘Inflamation Centif……’?)

Any ideas appreciated thanks!

Paul

Looks like inflamation or infection perhaps ... but the other word is "certified."  Certified by, and the name of the doctor - a guess as to his name is P.Carr MB?  Undecided

There is a bit more information here:

Hi,

Many thanks.

Of course...I can see now that the first word is 'Certified' Doh.  Smiley

Charlotte, you are correct. This is my grandfather's death certificate, and yes,  he was teetotal.

He never drank, as he said he'd seen the damage drink could do through his mother's side of the family...

Thanks again everyone.
