can any one help me please
i received a death certificate on Saturday for a George Warman 1901 age 66.
place of death Union Workhouse,Billericay Road Billericay.
would be interesting to now if any one can do a look up for me if there are any workhouse records, would be interesting to now when he went in and why.
his death is down as Apoplexy what ever that is.

Don't know where the records are for that workhouse, but apoplexy is unconsciousness or incapacity resulting f4rom a cerebral haemorage or stroke.

Looks as if he had a stroke, poor chap.
