Robert Fynne =Mary ? died in Baylham, Suffolk in 1796. Trying to ascertain names of siblings
Help appreciated.

there are some Fyn/Fynn/Fynnes on the suffolk death index including some Roberts & marys in baylham but i can't see a robert d 1796 or near and the marys are 1600's.

if you have other names from this family please ask.

Have you seen the Submitted (check carefully) record on IGI:

Robert Fynn = Mary Smith 26/12/1774 Somersham, suffolk
just looked up both places - practically on the doorstep!!

Thank you so much for the information which corresponds with my own records. However I have completely boobed and looked at the wrong Fynne in my notes.  The year of the death of Robert should read 1692 and not 1796 and it his children that I am after rather than his siblings. I clearly had a complete senior moment when I hurriedly drafted the message.  The difficulty is that there are no Baylham parish register entries before about 1663 but several Fenne/Fynne marriages in Baylham after that date so it is possible that some if not all are his children. There is a Robert Fynne of Somersham who married Mary Snelling of Flowton in Akenham in 1639 and it is possible that they settled in Baylham. There is a Mary Fynne who died in Baylham in 1671 - Robert's wife?
