Birth Record Look up Fife *COMPLETED*

Is there some way to find the birth mother for Alexander Barclay, born 26 March 1885, in Auchterderran, Fife, Scotland (other than the 1891 census where her given name of Euphemia is provided)? I would like to confirm her maiden name.   The census states she was born in Ladybank about 1863.  She died around 1893.  Thanks for your help.

Everything you need to know should be on Scotlands People...  but it is a pay as you go site....  altho not too expensive... I havent any credit at the moment... sorry ... I tend to use it pdq...

BLESS you!  This is a wonderful addition.  I had a hunch it was Dickson because one of their sons is James Dickson Barclay.   I can't thank you enough.
