I have a friend who is researching in Mumby Lincoln. As she was going through burials many entries had BN after them. Does any one know what this means? Is it a place in or near Mumby. Having wild guesses here. Eds

Hi, Eds,
The only BN abbreviation that I've come across stands for Battalion.
Is this relevant to your friend's research?

Just throwing another suggestion into the pot - could it be Buried Non-comformist, I am not sure if the non-conformist chapels at Mumby had a burial ground of it's own.
