Looking for help tracing Mcgowan family of Gourock? William born abt 1846 to Peter and Mary Ann, sister Jane born abt 1853?  Subsequently mother and children appear on 1861 English census in Birkenhead, members of local presbyterian church. 1911 census entry for William states birthplace Gourock Renfrewshire.
