Looking for any info on Margaret (Maggie) Luddy born 1883 died 1970 in Dublin, married Bob Doyle circa 1909 and had a daughter Lena born 1914. They lived in East James Lane now Dublin 2

From the information you already have I presume you have found Margaret and her brother Alexander on the 1911 census and from there traced their birth and marriage certs.

What specific information are you looking for?

Dara, thanks for the reply. She was my grandmother. I have all the info from 1911 Irish census and some further on her husband Robert Doyle but i am at a full stop for going back further with her as no one seems to know where the family came from to live at this address in Dublin circa 1889. Her mothers maiden name was McKittrick the spelling ? and i have no idea of her fathers first name.

From 1911 Margaret was born 1883 in Co. Dublin and Alexander was born 1887/8 in Dublin City.

You can order the birth and marriage certs using the details provided by Shane from the following site:
http://www.groireland.ie/apply_for_a_cert.htm

The birth certs should indicate an address for their parents.

Do you know the first names of Margaret’s parents?

To Dara, i have everything from 1911 onwards. Margaret Luddy born Aug 3rd 1883 married Robert Doyle 25th July 1909 in Westland Row church. They had a daughter Lena in 1914 but i have no idea of Margaret's parents except i think the mothers surname was McKittrick (the spelling ?) poss from Ardee but no idea of the first names. I thought it was Ellen but i may be confusing that with Robert Doyles mother Ellen Fairfield. I have to thank yourself and theothers for giving so much help.

Margaret Luddy's marriage certificate should list her father's name and ocupation and her birth certificate will list the names of both her father and her mother. Index to civil registrations link was given earlier in the thread (along with a possible match for Margaret's birth) and Dara has given you the GRO link to apply for certificates.

Once you find the names of Margaret's parents you can start looking for their marriage, etc. so when you do get the details post the details on this thread (instead of starting a new one) and we'll try to help you or suggest where to search next.
