Hi,
I’m trying to find the DOB and parents of Maria Everett.
This is what I have so far she was married to George Simper on 20 March 1853 in the parish of Edwardstone (spelling) her age was 25 and her father’s name is given as William Everett.
On the 1861 her place of birth is given as Little Waldingfield.
On the IGI there is a Maria Everett christened on 15 Feb 1829 at Little Waldingfield, Bts Suffolk, father William Everett and mother Elizabeth. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Tati,
Thank you that certainly looks like them, I don’t know how I missed them on the 1851 census. Now we have the parents ages and place of birth is it possible to find the mother’s maiden name?

Maria EVERETT was born in 1829 in Little Waldingfield, Suffolk, England. She was baptised on 15 Feb 1829 in Little Waldingfield, Suffolk, England. Parents: William EVERETT and Elizabeth DAY.
Taken from the Cosford-Database (information from the late Ray Long)
Everett and Day both Little Waldingfield families and members of both families in the village to this day.

William EVERETT was born in 1801 in Little Waldingfield.
He was baptised on 25 Dec 1801 in Little Waldingfield.
He died in Dec 1877 in Edwardstone and was buried on 1 Jan 1878 in Edwardstone.
Parents: Thomas EVERETT and Sarah SMITH.
He was married to Elizabeth DAY on 27 Jun 1820 in Little Waldingfield. Children were: John EVERETT, Mary EVERETT, Harriet EVERETT, Maria EVERETT, William EVERETT, Harriot EVERETT, Emma EVERETT.
You can go back another generation or two on both sides of Maria's family, thanks to Ray's wonderful work on the Database.

Don't forget you can see both LtWaldingfield and Edwardstone churches at www.suffolkchurches.co.uk
I love to cycle down to Edwardstone church, it is on high ground away from the heart of the village, wonderfully peaceful and beautiful views all around.
Just drove home from an SLHC meeting in Ipswich, at the bottom of my road is Priory Green, was looking at the large beautiful homes to see if any could have been workers cottages. There is one house that was probably four cottages at one time 
I shall pay more attention when I am walking with the dog.
