Paul CUTLER - 1876 burial Great Marlow?
« on: Thursday 23 July 09 19:38 UTC (UK) »

Hi,

Could someone help me find the burial for Paul Cutler at Great Marlow in 1876 please? This is what I know about him...

PAUL CUTLER was born on 31 December 1842 at Lane End, Great Marlow, Buckinghamshire (Source: Lane End Parish Registers) and died in 1876 at Wycombe, Buckinghamshire (Source: GRO Quarterly Indexes). He married ANN EDGINGTON on 20 June 1866 at West Wycombe, Buckinghamshire (Source: West Wycombe Parish Registers). She was born in 1843 at Hughenden, Buckinghamshire (Source: Hughenden Parish Registers).

Ecclesiastical Events for PAUL CUTLER:
Baptism: 29 January 1843, Lane End Holy Trinity Church, Lane End, Buckinghamshire (Source: Lane End Parish Registers).

Occupations of PAUL CUTLER:
1861: Watchman (Source: 1861 Census)
1866: Blacksmith (Source: West Wycombe Parish Registers)
1871: Sawyer (Source: 1871 Census)

Residences of PAUL CUTLER:
1841: Lane End, Buckinghamshire (Source: 1841 Census)
1851: Lane End, West Wycombe, Buckinghamshire (Source: 1851 Census)
1866: Lane End, Buckinghamshire (Source: West Wycombe Parish Registers)
1871: Dove House Mead, Chipping Wycombe, Buckinghamshire (Source: 1871 Census)

I have seen the Buckinghamshire FHS burial database but all Great Marlow burials seem to be missing.

Hello Matt

There is no burial for Paul CUTLER in the Great Marlow parish registers.  Have you tried High Wycombe as this is where he was living in 1871?

Just as a matter of interest Great Marlow baptisms (1592 to 1907) and burials (1592 to 1940) have been transcribed and published by The Eureka Partnership and are not part of the Bucks FHS databases.  See the web site at www.eurekapartnership.com or visit the stand at the Bucks FHS Open Day at The Grange School, Aylesbury on Saturday 25th July.

Hi Orpheus,

I have tried High Wycombe (with the Bucks FHS Burial Database) and no record apparently, though I question the results slightly. Great Marlow was one of the only likely places on the list that had incomplete coverage.

I will think about the Great Marlow Registers but will need some money first!

Thanks
