Ickornshaw parish records - Whitaker

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has the parish registers for Ickornshaw Wesleyan church.
Would like to find out if there is more information on this enty:

John Whitaker, b. 19th Aug. 1815, bp. 27th Nov 1815, mother was Elizabeth Whitaker.

Need to find out if it is the same Elizabeth Whitaker who married (on the same day as this baptism) to a john Simpson, at Kildwick church.

Any help appreciated.

Not sure how helpful this might be but you could have a look at www.cowlingweb.co.uk as Ickornshaw is connected to Cowling. They have a message board where someone may be able to tell you where the records are.

I have been told that the Ickornshaw records have not been transcribed and that I may have to go to the LDS and order the records in.

But I may do as you suggest in the meantime, thankyou.
We seem pretty certain now that it is the same family, based on other docs that are turning up over the years.
