Could anyone try a look up for a marriage between Peter Robertson and a Mary someone from 1815 -1820 in Sheffield.  Many thanks

SS Peter and Paul is the only church that this marriage could take place at in the years you have stated. I have checked the index from 1815 to 1830 and the marriage is not listed.

Many thanks for searching. He was from Scotland (b c 1799) and Mary was Sheffield born (c1800) and from first census available they had six children by 1841 and they were all Sheffield born - plus found evidence of daughter Christiana born 1816 (bapatised Sheffield) from LDS website so that's why I presumed they would have been married in Sheffield.  Unless the birthdates are out, I guess the earliest one could search from would be 1810.  Do you have access to records of births prior to 1837 registration.  Presume there would have been more between Christiana and Alexander (b 1827).
