Noel Vincent Wilson need info on him

Hi,

I am looking for information on a Noel Vincent Wilson who died Aug 1998 aged 82 and seemed to have been in the parish of Cannock Chase. He was born on the 8th Sept 1915.

I am new to searching ancestry for England so any help would be appreicated. Does anyone know how I can get newspapers Obituaries for his death to find out information? I am trying to see if Noel Vincent Wilson was born in Dublin, Ireland.

Does your death certificates in England have his mother/fathers name? Does it have his place of birth? How do I find out who he was married to?

Any help would help a damsel in distress

Unfortunately the death certificate only gives:

Date of death and place of death
Name
Sex
Age
Occupation
Cause of death
Informant and their address
When registered

ADDED if you were lucky enough that the informant was his wife that might give a clue!

For a death as recent as 1998 you will also get date and place of birth (but not parents' names).

How do I find out if this is the same Noel Vincent Wilson that is my Great Uncle and also if he was born in Ireland?

The marriage certificate will give (hopefully) his father's name and occupation ( and that of his wife's father) 

I cant see any Noel Wilson born 1915 in the England and Wales BMD, so that looks likely he wasn't born here. Then it might be a case of finding his birth in Ireland and seeing if the father's name matches that on the marriage certificate.
