http://www.isle-of-wight-fhs.co.uk/ is the website for the Isle of Wight Family History Society (the island off the south coast of England not the county in the Commonwealth of Virginia)

It has a BMD section for the Island, containing births 1837 to 2002, marriages 1837 to 2002 and deaths 1837 to 2004, these are free to research.

Membership of the Society does offer many more benefits one of which is contact with other people who are researching the same names as you are.

UK membership is £9 per person per annum, £12 for  a couple; EU membership is £12 per person and overseas membership is £15 per person.
