Thomas HUTCHINSON died Horringer, Suffolk
« on: Friday 03 July 09 20:04 UTC (UK) »

Trying to find any information on the above named chap.  He was born in Wilsford in Lincolnshire in 1878 and lived out his days in Horringer until 1972.  He had a son named George Eric Huntchinson, who I believed only died in 2003, don't know if it was in Horringer, but registered under Bury St Edmunds.  I think Thomas only married once, his wife dying in 1937, but I don't know whether George married and had a family of his own.
Thomas was my Great Grandma's brother, hoping the family didn't die out with George.
Any info would be most appreciated.

Kind regards

Diane

Hello Diane and welcome to Rootschat

If George lived in Horringer and was poorly before he passed away, it is likely he was in West Suffolk Hospital or Saint Nicholas Hospice in Bury St Edmunds.  Today Horringer is almost a suburb of Bury St Edmunds (and more building is proposed for that side of Bury in the future).

An appeal to the letters page of the East Anglian Daily Times (the daily paper for Suffolk), or to the Bury Free Press (weekly) would be a good idea as your research is so recent.  Either living relatives or friends of this chap would be able to get in touch with you.
