Florence May Stringer was born Atherton / Leigh in 1908.
I have been unable to find either a Marriage or a Death.
Can anyone help please?

On the 1911 census there is a Florence May Stringer, born 1908, and living in Leigh district. You may already have this.

If it was a second marriage - she would not have married as Stringer - she would have re-married using her first married name

Where does she fit into your family tree?
 
If you know her fathers name - you could send for a copy of the 1960 marriage cert but put a condition on your application that Florence should be around 52yrs old and her fathers name should be ................

If it's the wrong one - the GRO will only charge a £3 search fee
