Osborn & Rosamond LATTIMORE of St Albans
« on: Tuesday 27 October 09 19:27 UTC (UK) »

Hi all

I'm trying to find out more about my ancestors, Osborn & Rosamond Lattimore (nee West), who lived in St Albans from at least 1786 to their deaths in the early 1840's. Osborn lived c.1761-1844, Rosamond c.1758 - 1842

I have not been able to trace them in the 1841 census, despite both dying a few years after it was taken, nor have I been able to trace them via the IGI or vital records index. The only other records found besides their marriage, is their burial entry's at St Albans

Does anyone out there have any information on this Lattimore family that might be able to help me?

Regards

Lee

This is on the Vital Records Index but birthyear is too early.  This could possibly be an earlier son who died as it was quite common for them to name later children after their dead siblings

Osborn Latimore Birth Date: abt 1744 Christening  19 Aug 1744  Sandridge Herts

Hi

Have you got details of their six children, baptised in St Albans 1787-1800 (per IGI)?

Their children are listed on the IGI - one is called Jeremiah

PARENT SEARCH ON IGI

www.familysearch.org - On home page - click on  “Advanced Search” to the right of the SEARCH button

Select “International Genealogical Index” from the left hand menu

Input fathers name and surname BUT only put mothers christian name as not all entries have the maiden name

REGION – select British Isles from the menu

COUNTRY – select England

COUNTY (will appear when you select COUNTRY)  – select  Hertford

Click SEARCH
