Emma Eliza JAMES & Josiah CARR 1820's Baptism at Great Marlow
« on: Saturday 04 July 09 15:05 BST (UK) »

Hello,

This is a lookup for Ceeoh. Are there baptisms for the above mentioned Carr children at Great Marlow, children of John and Sophia Carr?

Thanks

As Carole says - G Marlow PRs have Emma's baptism Jan 1 1826 d/o John, labourer & Sophia.

That's the only one I can find.

I can't see any relevant burials, so it looks as if they must have moved away.

There is no son Josiah with the family on the 1841 census.

The only Josiah Carr b Bucks on the 1851 was b 1822 Great Marlow but was the son of Ann

Is this the marriage

JOHN CARR    Spouse:  SOPHIA EASDEN
Marriage:  07 AUG 1825   West Wycombe

I notice on the IGI that some of their children were christened at Lane End Bucks

William 1838
George 1835
Martha 1833
Plus some others after 1841

Should the link to that discussion be included in this post for background info??

Hello,
Have picked up your replies to Matt's query on my behalf.  Many thanks for the info.  Josiah is an "odd" one. I have replied to Matt on this one "JOHN CARR MARRIAGE C1832 LANE END"

Thanks again
