Currier J   (Currier journeyman)

Currier          - A person who cures or tans hides
Journeyman - A craftsman who had served an apprenticeship and was no longer bound to serve a master. Distinguished on one side from apprentice, on the other from master.

I was trying to find him in 1851 to check his occupation then, had he died by then?  I can see possible son William away at school, and other possible children with grandmother, but didn't see Samuel or Sarah.
