Hi
I would be grateful of any help in locating Clara Beards
I have her in 1901 living with her sister:

1901 merridale Wolverhampton

Harry Ward 25 Head
Mary Jane Ward wife
Richard T Ward son 3
Clara Beards 16 sister-in-law

but I can not find her from there, I have checked on the 1911 census and she is not living with Mary Jane anymore, can anyone shed any light?

Did she marry and therefore change her name?

There is a marriage on Free BMD for a Clara Beards
June quarter 1907
Clara Beards Kidderminster 6c 351
On the same page
Arthur Davies
Henry Thomas Underhill

There are no suitable deaths in the time period between 1901 and 1911 for a Clara Beards so perhaps this is her marriage. Kidderminster is not that far from Wolverhampton.

Thanks for your reply, I thought that she might have got married or moved because of a job, but I have no idea who to or where other than all the other Beards's on my tree have not moved far from Wolverhampton and to us Kidderminster would be far lol.
I will have to look into this and maybe see who the father is on that marriage.

I have done a bit more investigating and have found 3 Davies children with mother's maiden name as Beards and also found Clara and Arthur Davies living in Kidderminster, he was born in Hertfordshire and had been married before. It would be interesting to see where they met though as in 1901, he was still with his wife in Walton on Thames, Surrey!!
