Birth at sea
« on: Saturday 04 July 09 20:58 UTC (UK) »

Does anyone know what happens when a child is born at sea.  I know they are registered on the ship but how will they be recorded - obviously not on the original passenger list - but will they be added at disembarkation?

Also does anyone know of a ship coming into England, probably southampton, in 1909,1910 from Australia but stopping at possibley Durban, South Africa.  I've just searched but can't find anything.

I've done all that but I wondered how it was recorded on the ships list.
