help with this please ,

After visiting a church to see a grave ,   Buried with the parents are 3x children who died in infancy with no dates  .   I cannot find the children  on any cences ,there are no dates on the headstone ,only those of the parents birth and death who died in 1909 and 1920 .ages 77 and 90 yrs . can you please  help me .  Where do  I go from here .

If the family had an uncommon surname you can check death registrations against birth registrations on FreeBMD.

You could check the parish registers for baptisms and burials.

You could try The National Burial Index.

sorry do you mean ,their  name and the church ? Jacob Wymer 1832 ,Sarah Wymer 1830 .children Mary Ann ,James, Henry ,And  Jemima .sorry that's 4, all from Moulton Norfolk . thankyou

That's great thanks for your quick response . this has helped alot with my tree .in those days would that mean the parents where then placed with the children ,it seemed such a small plot .and the children had died many years before .

It may have been their wish to be buried with their children and already owning a grave was also cheaper than buying another

I presume the names of the children were on the headstone but not the dates?

Possible answer could be that the person who had the headstone erected either didn't know the dates or kept the cost of engraving down by just putting the names.
