Is there any one who has knowledge of an O'Brien family who came from Faughary Leitrim to Glasgow around the year 1863 and left for the United States (Boston) 1866?  Head of household Daniel married Margreat nee Rooney son Patrick Francis born in Ireland and daughter born Alice in Glasgow !864.  Ibelieve there might have been two other children as well Rose and Daniel but not sure.

I have O'Briens from Leitrim too.  I don't have any idea if your Daniel is related to my family, but their origins seem to be not too far from yours.  Thomas O'Brien married Mary Glancy in Barr of Farrow, Glenfarne, Co. Leitrim in 1840.
