Trying to track down the parents of a Charles Dickie born 1804 in paisley, Renfrewshire

Charles Dickie Born 1804

Occupation Weaver

Married

Margaret Dickie (nee Dick) Born1808

Son John Born 1829 Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland

Occupation Weaver

Married  1853

Elizabeth Dickie (nee Guy)

hi akira,on igi extracted entry for charles dickie born 22nd march 1804,low church,paisley ,scotland,father john dickie ,mother margrey Huh,could be marjorie or margaret,NIVEN hope this helps,eva........ just had a look for his dads marraige john dickie married marion niven,may  30th 1789, middle church,paisley,renfrew,one is written marion other written marrion,eva.

thank you for you reply I found 3 also but I think they're one in the same as Margery is the pet form of Margaret and Marrion is also another pet name of Mary or Margaret so I believe its one in the same person I just wasn't sure.

Hi All,

Got some records from Scotland's people but here's the kicker found his parents but have two conflicting records.

Found Charles' Baptismal OPR Parents listed as John Dickie, Margaret Niven
Found Charles' Death Certificate parents listed as John Dickie, Margaret Gemmell By the looks of it from the SR
*Note death cert has listed correct wife a Margaret Dick, so it somewhat makes it confusing

Did a search for marriages between Margaret Gemmell & John Dickie in Paisley Renfrewshire, Also did a search and widened the net to all parishes

if some one can help
