william bagshaw accident 1910 bakewell

i am trying to find an answer to a mystery for my aunt her grandfather mr william bagshaw was killed in 1910 march qtr aged 35 he was involved in a accident with a horse and cart i cannot find his death on the sites but i was wondering can anyone tell me how i can access the newspapers for that year to see if i can find it in them the family seem to be from derbyshire in the bakewell area she has been researching her family tree by visiting churches etc but she would like to know how he got killed

Hi Ann,

This link will take you to Derbyshire County Council Local Studies:

They should be able to tell you where to find copies of newspapers - probably the 'Derbyshire Times' would be the one.   They hold collections at both Chesterfield and Matlock - unfortunately Bakewell is in the middle of these two places!

I can look in the Derbyshire Times if it covers Bakewell, do you have a better date, like a Death Cert?
