Did you have any success with locating Brampton Ash parish records? Are they at Northampton Record Office? I discovered recently that a person I am searching for came from Brampton Ash in the 1770s, probably born there in 1757 and named John Hawes or Hawse. Please let me know how you got on with your query.

        there is a john hawes born Feb 28 1755 baptisted 3 mar 1755
          also there is another john born Feb23 1761 baptisted 12 Oct 1761
               Mary born 30 DEC 1758 bapt 02 Jan 1759
                 Sarah born jun 25 1756 bap 26 Jul 1756
                  father john  mother Sarah 
you can order microfiches from northants record office at £2.25 each x 7
i got mine in familyhistory centre at 0.15p each the only trouble is you can only view them in the centre. Wayne
