Hi
I'm trying to find the parent details of William Brooks b. 16 May 1773 Witney St. Mary.  I have the OFHS CD Vol 1 Witney transcripts which give his parentage as Richard and Jane however I have found no other children or parent marriage/baptism details.

If anyone could help trace this Richard and his wife it would be greatly appreciated.

Just about to mark this topic as completed but in case anyone's interested in this Brooks family, I purchased all 4 Witney CD transcripts from OFHS and found no marriage, no more children and as yet, no death for Jane (although there are hundreds of Brooks' in the area!) so I am convinced they came from just outside the Witney parish area (possibly Woodstock) and will follow this up later when my finances have recovered from my splurge!

If you're looking at Brooks, apart from the usual Brook, Brooke and Brookes variants.  I also came across Broke, Brokes, Bruch, Brouck, Brox which may be of some use in your researches.

Thanks to anyone who tried to find these people for me.
