Hi,could anyone out there tell me where I can find where Elizabeth McCormick Scott,nee Mills, would have been buried or cremated,D.26/10/1940,Sorbie,Wigton,any information would be appreciated I am interested in seeing her grave stone if she was buried,thanks in anticipation.

Hi daisymae

These records should now be held by Dumfries and Galloway council, who took over responsibility for this area in the 1996 local government reorganization, see http://www.dumgal.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=1 .

You may find that there is a charge for a search of the relevant records.
