I wonder if any one in Tyrone can help me on this one.
I am looking for a relation who was killed WW2 ie my late mothers cousin , her uncle was Patrick Harkin from Carndonagh Donegal who i be leavie lived some where around Glasgow?.
I don't know who he married except this record on CWGC came up just wondered if there was a connection to my relation .
Parent's Patrick Joseph Harkin & Catherine Harkin Ardstaw county Tyrone.
Their son was called Patrick Joseph Harkin age 24 killed 1940 regiment Royal Inneskillen Fusilier's , i was wondering did my g uncle married a girl from Tyrone or i am on the wrong track any help welcomed Little Annie

Any idea when 'your' Patrick was born? (the CWGC one born c1916)
Or who his parents were? (Patrick Joseph and Catherine?)
Or what regiment?

Only record i have is 1898 given by Agnes on the Donegal site , he doe's not show up at home ? in 1911 census.
If he is the correct one he was a Father very young as for regiment only what i have told you

Patrick Joseph HARKIN died 29/5/1940 age 24
Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers
parents- Patrick & Catherine Harkin of Ardstraw
