Hello, does anyone have access to the registers from Llanelly Breconshire?
I'm looking for children of Rees Jones and his wife Sarah (nee Lewis) - Rees and Sarah were married at Sarah's home town of Llanwenarth (Mon) very close to Llanelly in 1814.
The family was living in Penffyddlwyn, Llanelly 1841, 1861, 1861 - both Rees and Sarah died before 1871.
Any children still at home in 1851 were all born in Llanelly so I am thinking they settled there after their marriage.
Rees was born in Y Battel. As well as finding all their children, I'd love to find anything on the family, burials etc.
With many thanks. Sally Maclean

Hi CaroleW
Thanks for your interest and advice and I'm sorry for not making my request clearer. I have exhausted most known indexes but this area of interest isn't covered by anyone. I was hoping someone had access to the registers.
I'm looking for the baptisms of their children primarily but any anything extra would be a bonus.
Children at home in 1841 are Jacob 18, Daniel 15, Sarah 14, Mary 12, Elias 9, Ann 6 - all b Llanelly
Children at home in 1851 are Jacob 28 (widower), Daniel 26, Charles 18 (is this Elias?).
No children at home in 1861.
I think I know of 2 other children James b 1818 and John b 1820 but as they were married in 1814 I am expecting a couple more children first possibly a "Rees" and "Lewis" going on naming trends throughout the family.
My ancestor is James b 1818 and I'm really trying to confirm I have the correct family.
Many thanks again, Sally.
