please may a very kind soul confirm the birth and christening or either
for

John Frederick Gamble (son of Henry Cutcliffe GAMBLE)  born about 1851/1852 ,christened at HOLY TRINITY CHURCH Clifton probably by Rev. Henry Gamble

Thank you very much..... otherwise i shall go up to Matlock next month.

i'll order the birth cert .... i wasn't sure if he was born in India as he married there and Henry Cutcliffe Gamble went to and fro.

just to say i received the birth cert this morning and got all the details . i went last week to Clifton and found the gravestone for 5 x great grandparents !!!  Grin

John F Gamble was born in Clifton.

so all sorted  Grin

i have just found what i am 99.9 % sure is his death cert, so i have ordered that now...


sad though as he died in England and i presume that my gg grand mother was still in India and never saw him again  Sad
