John Staples married Mary Maria Gadd 19 June 1808 Carshalton, Surrey. Would anyone be able to advise me if this couple relocated to Canada shortly after their marriage and also if they were in fact originally from Scotland prior to residing in Surrey. Thanx.

Thanx Valda for your comprehensive response. Altho' most all the forenames are also in the Staples line that I am following in Canada, this particular family is not a fit. My John and Mary Staples were already in Canada as they had a son George born here in 1815. Thank you for your efforts. Cheers.
