Thank you all very much for your imput and the this is all very helpful indeed
  to answer a couple of Questions I know nothing of his parents. and in 1871 Census Joseph and his wife Mary were still in Ipstones by 1881 they were living in Chesterton Staffs any way thanks to you all again Cheers Griffo
