Help to understand Date
« on: Wednesday 22 July 09 10:19 UTC (UK) »

Hi
Can someone offer any advice on how to read a date.
I've just used this website: http://www.csc.liv.ac.uk/~cprdb/
However I was wondering what is this date? Unfortunately I can't find any information on the website on how to read this particular piece of information although they give plenty of help on just about everything else.

DATED    6310930

Thankyou.

Hi

6310930 = 30 September 1631.

In other words the 30 is the day, the 09 is the month and you have put your own 1 in front of 631.

Hope that helps.  Smiley
