Joseph HORNE married to Annie TIMMIS
« on: Wednesday 22 July 09 15:11 UTC (UK) »

My grandad, Arthur Nixon, had two half brothers. George Horne & John *Jack* Horne.

I'm trying to find out more about the Horne family as George & John seem to disappear! Their parents were Joseph Horne & Annie Timmis. They married around 1911. ohn/Jack was born 1912 and George was born 1918. This is all I know of George & John.

Annie and Joseph divorced (presume divorced anyway, Joseph could have died) and Annie then went on to marry Tom/Thomas Nixon and had Thomas John in 1928 followed by Arthur in 1930.

Annie's parents were Thomas Timmis & Matilda Matthews.

As you can see, my family weren't very imaginitive when it came to naming their children, which is why this is SO hard!

Can anybody help me to find out and Joseph Horne, John Horne and/or George Horne please?

Hi NixonHoltClan...  I've found the 1901 record for the lad who looks to be the Joseph Horne who married Anne Timmis (at Wolstanton).  There is also a birth record for a Joseph Henry Horne Jul-Sep 1893 Wolstanton 6b 13 which would appear to fit with the below record.
