Could some kind person look up the baptisms of these children for me please, probably in St Mary's, as they lived in Charles St. Truro. The wonderful Cornwall OPC site doesn't extend that far yet.  Sad

William John P. Philp (born late 1903)

Eva Rosalia P. Philp (born 1906)

Joseph James P. Philp (born 1909/10)

They should all be the children of Alice Philp. There is a Freddy too (born about 1904), and there could well be more after 1911.


I am wondering if the initial P is by any chance Palmer, cos it's looking very much like my Gt Gt Grandfather John Palmer might have had a second (and illigitimate!)  family in 1911!!!  Shocked
