Great grandfather Robert Coombs born 1829 Mappowder, Dorset, along with his 7 siblings. (sibling information I gatefully received from Isobelruss and nanny jan  )
Robert's parents, Robert born 1801 Mappowder, Dorset and his mother, Elizabeth, born 1801 Hazelbury Bryan, Dorset.
Some difference of opinion re. his mother's maiden name - is it Bowering or Paddock? Can anyone help?
Any help will be greatly appreciated
