My Gr-Gr-Grandmother, Charlotte DAVIES married her long time 'partner' in 1859
(Dec 1859; wheatenhurst; 6a; 528) They lived in Stanidsh, GLS. He was William MANNS but has been 'misread' and 'mistranscribed' as William, MANUS.  Looking at the index entry it could easily be read as such but I know from several census' that it was, in fact, MANNS.  Six of their ten (or eleven) children, born before their marriage, were baptised 'enmass' on the same day as banns began. 
Is there anyone here who is able to find the entry to obtain Charlotte's father's name.  I ordered the certificate at one time and they did not supply it as her father was not named William.  I was under the impression that he was William so thought I had found the wrong marriage, however I realize that I only thought that because there was a Charlotte born about the right time to William and Elizabeth.  I have not had access to parish registers to find her actual birth entry.  I am now certain this is the correct marriage and can't afford to order the certificate again right now.

Have you had any replies? One of William and Charlotte grandsons "Mark" was a relative of ours.

So we are interested in what you find out.
