Birth and death erdington
« on: Sunday 26 July 09 13:23 UTC (UK) »

After 2 years of not doing anything on my family tree, i have finally started to get back into it, but my mind has gone totally blank as to how to start feel like a newbie again. So am hoping someone out there can assist me in this query. I have been told by a distant relative living in canada who is also researching the family tree...that on the 1911 census my great grandparents have listed that they had 5 children born..4 were living (which i knew about ) and one was dead...this is ths start of my problem...as easrlier census do not list number of births and death etc, They were living in erdington at the time, names were George Spencer (father) Mary ann Spencer (mother) 4 sons George, Howard, Herbert and Sydney.  The younger 2 boys were born 10 years apart so i am guessing that the fifth deceased child was born somewhee inbetween 1900 and 1910. After all this waffle my question is how do i go about finding the birth and death of this child ...i am presuming there would have been a baptism at St barnabus church erdington.
