Hi, how could I find birth records for someone born in St Petersburg about 1850, to Swedish parents. Would they have been registered in Sweden anywhere, or in St Petersburg. Unfortunately we have very little information on this person, my OH's great grandfather who came to England some time before 1891. His name was Carl Qvarnstrom, though he later changed it to Charles Quarnstrom, and on his marriage certificate his father is listed as Peter Qvarnstrom, a tailor.
