Who is Henry Danskin?
« on: Sunday 26 July 09 15:44 UTC (UK) »

All I know is that Henry Danskin, glassmaker, was born about 1814 _ where? He married Jane Allison 1836 in Newcastle (IGI). Can't find him on any census but found two references to him in Newcastle Courant newspaper - first dated 1851 where he was charged with breaking a square of glass and ordered to pay damages and costs and the other in 1868 when he was charged with attempting to stab a policeman. Does anyone know who were his parents/siblings - did they have any children?

(Another 'black sheep' to add to the tree?).

Thanks avm228
This could be the link we've been looking for..!! There are many of us from the Danskin Clan in England looking for a connection with the Scottish Clan - a little more digging is called for to find the roots of the Danskin tree...!!!!
