Looking for information on Ole HENNEBREKE who came from Norway to the USA, early 1900. He changed his name to Edward Johnson Married anna Svanto.

Unfortunately that gives us one very common name and one that is probably not quite spelled the way it would be in Norway.

A little more information would be good, if you have it:
When/where did Ole/Edward die?
When/where did he marry Anna?
Which US censuses does he appear in?
When approximately was he born?

I don't have much to go on
Edwar johnson Born 1897 in Norway came to Usa between 1915-1925
Married Anna  1927 I think first son was born 1928, died Michigan 1989 age 92

I can't see him on the SSDI - do you have his death certificate? Obituary?
Do you know where the family were living in 1930?
(There will be some people who can help with US census records around here, but we need more info on them to pinpoint them there).

From where does the information on the name "Ole HENNEBREKE" come from?

How about Anna - where does the name Svanto come from, when was she born/died?

I now have a bit more information on Ole Hennebrekke
Born 1822 Norway
Married Anna Swanto (Finnish) 1922 Detroit mi
1930 census Wayne Detroit mi
Died 1980, Age: 94 Death ,Royal Oak, Michigan, USA
Any information on him as Ole Hennebrekke would be great. Or any advice on how to search for him. When he came to this country they told him that he needed to change his name why he chose this name i don't know.

Okay, http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.htm shows the marriage.
Edw. Johnson, 36, b. Norway, resident Detroit, builder, father John, mother Olive Olsen.
to Anna Swanto, b. 29, parents John and Kate Petso/Pitso?

It was not true that he would have been "required" to change his name when he arrived in the country, but he may have chosen to do so.  As his father was John, he was probably already known as Johnsen in Norway (Hennebrekke or similar would be a farm name), and Edward/Edvard may have been his middle name or another family name.

There is also on the website I linked a 1920 census entry for an Edward Johnson, 33, single, emigrated in 1916, he and parents b. Norway, occupation carpenter.

The closest farm name I can find is  Hanebrekke.  In the 1900 census of Norway there is this:

Note that the spelling of the farm name can often change - i.e. in the 1865 census the same farm seems to be listed as "Hannebrekke"

Probably Jan Jansen in 1865 with his brother and widowed mother:

Oline's family were the side of the family who were in Hannebrekke at that time:
