Elven/Vinsen families Bury st Edmunda

One of my direct ancestors was Cornelius Elven  b 1798 and died 1873. he married a Mary Ann Vinsen in 1823 at St marys .There was also his father Cornelius Elven  who married a Mary Ladd in 1795(I think this marriage was in Sudbury AllSaints)I have reason to believe that one of the Cornelius was a |Baptist  minister in Bury. Can anyone help me find out more about this family .

I have looked the1871 census for Cornelius and he is lised as a baptist minister.

Many thanks. Last year I went to Bury record office and to the churches there not realising that I had a connection there till recently.I wonder if I am on the right track as I found a marriage of a Mary Elven to a George Piper at All Saints Sudbury in 1828 and they had 10 children. I think my Mary must be the daughter of the earlier Cornelius who married a Mary ladd in 1795. This has given me something to think about.

Hi Ringrose...Here is the 1861 entry....When I saw a diff daughter of the same age as the daughter in 1871 I thought I had better check it  and the unmarried daughter living with Corneliuus in 1871 is also deffinately Elizabeth and not Mary! Hope it helps solve the puzzle
