any information on the following or family connection would be appreciated
Edward Dempsey B 1857 Ireland - married Elizabeth o'Flynn B 1858 Ireland -
they came over to england and had the following children
Elizabeth 1882
Mary 1883
Martin 1884
Kate 1884
Margaret 1888
John 1890
Annie 1891
Eleanor 1894
Patricia 1896
Thomasine 1899 -
In the 1881 census they ran a marine store in sunderland
any info would be much appreciated

There is also a lodger and 2 servants

There are some Dempseys in Sunderland in 1911, but I can't check the details without paying (so I'll let you do that!)

thank you for the info much appreciated - all I know of edwards children is that most of them became nuns and a priest and according to my nana he left his money to the church - some of them also emigrated to canada but I can't make any connection or prove that

don't know if you have their marriage details but there is a possibility on Family Search pilot

1880 Ballina, Mayo  - same references for Edward Dempsy and Eliza O'Flynn
