The family of James Symison McKINLAY

Can anyone please tell me what became of any of the children of James Symison McKinlay and Harriet (Kemp); James, Grace, John, Eliza, and Mary ? I would be especially grateful for information on any marriages.

At the time of the 1901 census the family were living at 50 Claremont St., St Machar, Aberdeen Holborn. 

James and Harriet were born in Orkney, as was their first son James (c1893). Grace (c1895), John (c1896) and Eliza (c1898) were born in Kincardineshire, and Mary (c1900) was born in Aberdeen.

do you have the deaths of the parents in scotland ?
i had a look on SP and could not find a death for harriet(born c1873?) or
indeed any female mckinlay/kemp 1873+/- 5 years(soundex)
is it possible the family left scotland for pastures new ?
i found james and harriets marriage in orphir orkney 1892

just a thought

I have been looking at SP but haven't found anything positive, although I have purchased a couple of useless registrations!  Undecided 

You may have a point ev about the family leaving Scotland - I know James's brother John emigrated to New Zealand. I appreciate your interest.
