hi there,,

hoping someone is feeling extremely helpful.
my aunt was "apparently" born somewhere in kent ( i know they went to goudhurst & southminster) in i believe september of 1909. her name was ivy buckley. she was listed apparently as a boy not a girl.
all this came to light when she was ripe enough to claim her pension. they knew nothing about her. so she had to track herself down and happily told this story to all that would listen, sadly i didnt listen hard enough and she is no longer with us.
i would really like to know the exact details on her birth register/certificate
i believe her parents to be ada & otey buckley. mother nee webb or bibby. (used both maiden surnames)
appriciate any help as i do not have my ancestry at the moment and wont be able to get to the ERO for a while. thank you, thank you, thenk you.  Grin
im not sure if anyone can help so understand not to expect miracles.

Have you found her and/or the family in the 1911 census ie. any clues there?

I dont know if this is any help but Otey Buckley married Ada Webb at Rochford  in 1908(4)

The only Buckley child born in Rochford in 1907, 1908, or 1909 was one  Adolphus Buckley  b.1909(2)

thank you for that.
that adolphus is oteys nephew i believe. otey & ada had 14 children in total and the 2 after ivy were born under rochfrod and wickford. but ivy was definately somewhere in kent. thank you anyway.

no i have not been able to trace them on that census, although they are there as i know citizensmith found otey listed as living in "house on wheels" but again when you search for them, nothing shows.
the last 2 years have been a nightmare with trying to find them, i think i might just have to give up  Undecided
