We're chasing each other's tails here! I was just going to comment on the incorrect reference in the middle of the Bristol batch!
For a belt and braces job Gladys ought to get this marriage cert, using the Rebecca Wooton reference, but I'm pretty comfortable about it
Where did it take place that it's not on the IGI?
David

There's a death of Emanuel Cherry in the Dec quarter 1838 at Luton. I've found it on the image but not in the index

Hiya David, i think the 1837 marriage for Rebecca Wooton in Luton would be a good idea, there is a image search on Free BDM which i will look on there to see if there is a male Cherry, not the night though as it takes quite a bit time and will let you know. John will agree with that marriage i think. Thanks for been very kind helping me. Regards Gladys. PS, well i never i have just mentioned the image search on FreeBMD and heres you been looking at it.

Hello John, i have`nt any census for Cherry and the only Elizabeth i have is the daur of William and Ann Chamberlain his first wife. I have to look on the image on FreeBMD yet when i get round to it for a marriage of a Cherry to Rebecca Wooton, it is Wooton when i get a good look at the marriage. Thank you very kindly for your help. We have to be family tree detectives Regards Gladys.

Put in Rebecca Wooton. Then when Luton December 1837 shows up click on the pair of spectacles to the right. Then click on View the Original
It's there
To find Emanuel Cherry just put in Cherry Dec 1837. Again click on the spectacles to the right of his name

Ive done what you said and seen them but the only thing is they have a different Vol and page numbers so did they get married, i will have to email the Archives again and ask them if they would check that up for me as i will send for a marriage certificate. Regards Gladys

I think this is what John and I were saying - that the references don't match up, and that the reference for Emanuel seems to be an error as it's the same as a load of Bristol references.

Hi David, i think i will just leave that marriage as its no good me filling a form in for Rebecca Wooton when i don`t know the full name of the groom as i emailed Luton archives and gave them the reference for Rebecca and told them i didn`t know her spouse`s full name as they sent me a form by email to fill in so whats the use never mind. Thank you for helping me. Regards Gladys.
